An updated Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 Container Image is now available.

Description

The Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 container image includes an up-to-date minimal runtime from Red Hat required to build, run, and deploy applications inside containers running on Red Hat infrastructure.

The Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 container image has been updated to provide a security fix from the RHSA-2020:5566 advisory (CVE-2020-1971).

Solution

The container images provided by this update can be downloaded from the Red Hat Container Registry at registry.access.redhat.com using the "podman pull" command.
