Description

The Universal Base Image is an image designed and engineered to be the base layer for all containerized applications, middleware, and utilities.

The Red Hat Universal Base Image 7 container image has been updated to provide a security fix from the RHSA-2020:5566 advisory (CVE-2020-1971).

Solution

The container images provided by this update can be downloaded from the Red Hat Container Registry at registry.access.redhat.com using the "podman pull" command.
