Topic

An update for ovn2.13 is now available in Fast Datapath for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.

Description

OVN, the Open Virtual Network, is a system to support virtual network
abstraction. OVN complements the existing capabilities of OVS to add native support for virtual network abstractions, such as virtual L2 and L3 overlays and security groups.

Bug Fix(es) and Enhancement(s):

  • [RFE] OVN: DHCP server support for chainloading iPXE (BZ#1765506)
  • renew message should be sent after renew time (BZ#1826686)
  • [RFE][OVN] Support of vlan transparency (BZ#1846018)
  • NB LSP with IPv6 CIDR in port_security does not create a SB Logical_Flow with IPv6+mask (BZ#1856898)
  • if set the lsp-addresses dynamic,the ip distributed was wrong when the subnet mask is set to CIDR (BZ#1865866)
  • Bad conjunctions in ovn when using default security groups - Port range (BZ#1871931)
  • OVN Gateway Router packet-ins all IP packets destined to it (BZ#1876174)
  • [OVN SCALE] Avoid adding invalid flows for reject ACLs into Southbound db (BZ#1876990)
  • ovn-detrace with --ovs results in "AttributeError: 'OvsInterfaceHandler' object has no attribute 'print' (BZ#1890803)
  • [OVN2.13] arp flooding and reaching limit: ofproto_dpif_xlate|WARN|over 4096 resubmit (BZ#1894478)
  • [ovn] ovn-northd fails to connect to the OVN dbs when they are huge (BZ#1896671)
  • After updating the controller nodes to RHOSP 16.1.2, there was a problem with VM network communication. (BZ#1899936)
  • Updating ovn-controller from ovn2.13-host-2.13.0-37/ovn2.13-20.06-xx to ovn2.13-20.09-xx breaks datapath connectivity (BZ#1900484)
