An update for nmstate is now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.2 Extended Update Support.

Description

Nmstate is a library with an accompanying command line tool that manages host networking settings in a declarative manner.

Bug fix:

• On systems that use the same interface name for the OpenvSwitch internal interface and the OpenvSwitch bridge, the "libnmstate.show()" system call and "nmstatectl show" command previously failed. This update fixes the underlying code, and prevents the described problem from occurring. (BZ#1887350)

Solution
