An update for cloud-init is now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.7
Extended Update Support.

Description

The cloud-init packages provide a set of init scripts for cloud instances.
Cloud instances need special scripts to run during initialization to
retrieve and install SSH keys, and to let the user run various scripts.

Bug Fix(es) and Enhancement(s):

• [RHEL7] swapon fails with "swapfile has holes" when created on a xfs

filesystem by cloud-init (BZ#1801093)

• cloud-init Azure byte swap (hyperV Gen2 Only) (BZ#1810063)
• [cloud-init][RHEL7][OpenStack] cloud-init can't persist

instance-data.json (BZ#1822234)

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
