An update for openvswitch2.12 is now available in the Fast Datapath channel of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.

Description

Open vSwitch provides standard network bridging functions and support for
the OpenFlow protocol for remote per-flow control of traffic.

Bug Fix(es) and Enhancement(s):

• [RFE] [openvswitch-2.12] Add visibility on netdev-dpdk tx drops in OVS (BZ#1762725)
• Missing and unexpected rules while sending traffic with no offload on one side (BZ#1787150)
• [openvswitch-2.12] Ramrod Failure errors with qede (BZ#1788515)
• ovsdb-server running in standby mode reconnects to active because of no probe interval response (BZ#1788906)
• i40e nic: it must restart the ovs service to make the spoofchk configuration to take effect (BZ#1792478)
• [RFE] Include "Improved Packet Drop Statistics in OVS" in our OVS package (BZ#1796571)
• [RFE] Add statistics to track number of times the vhost library wakes up the VM (BZ#1796583)
• i40e nic: spoofchk off does not take effect when vf add to ovs bridge (BZ#1796586)
• NFV live migration fails with dpdk "--iova-mode va": Failed to load virtio-net:virtio (BZ#1796590)
• [RHEL7] Both qemu and guest hang after migrating guest in which vhost-user NIC is using virtio-pci [ovs2.12] (BZ#1799017)

Solution
