An update for openvswitch2.11 is now available in the Fast Datapath channel of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.

Description

Open vSwitch provides standard network bridging functions and support for
the OpenFlow protocol for remote per-flow control of traffic.

Bug Fix(es) and Enhancement(s):

  • i40e nic: it must restart the ovs service to make the spoofchk configuration to take effect (BZ#1719644)
  • [Mellanox mlx5_core] OVS offload: match dl_type is not hw offloaded (BZ#1722337)
  • [RFE] Include "Improved Packet Drop Statistics in OVS" in our OVS package (BZ#1726568)
  • [RFE] Add statistics to track number of times the vhost library wakes up the VM (BZ#1726579)
  • ovs-dpctl dump-flows command failed when using non default vxlan port (BZ#1727599)
  • packet loss after adding gre tunnel with no key (BZ#1732305)
  • i40e nic: spoofchk off does not take effect when vf add to ovs bridge (BZ#1733402)
  • [openvswitch-2.11] Ramrod Failure errors with qede (BZ#1738789)
