Updated OpenStack Networking packages that resolve various issues are now
available for Red Hat OpenStack Platform 15.0 (Stein) for RHEL 8.

Description

Red Hat OpenStack Platform provides the facilities for building, deploying
and monitoring a private or public infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) cloud
running on commonly available physical hardware. This advisory includes
packages for:

Changes to the openstack-neutron component:

• In this update there is a new neutron API that you can use to configure floating IP port forwarding. (BZ#1759939)

Changes to the python-networking-ovn component:

• There is a known issue that OVN load balancer does not open new connections while fetching data from members. Instead, the load balancer modifies destination address and destination port and sends request packets to the member. As a result, you cannot define IPv6 members if you use IPv4 load balancer addresses, and you cannot define IPv4 members if you use IPv5 load balancer addresses.

There is currently no workaround for this issue. (BZ#1764025)

Solution

Before applying this update, ensure all previously released errata relevant
to your system have been applied.
