This update resolves a bug in Satellite 6.4 where users who create custom products after January 01, 2020 are unable to subscribe hosts to these new custom products and consume packages from the yum repositories contained within.

Description

Red Hat Satellite is a system management solution that allows organizations to configure and maintain their systems without the necessity to provide public Internet access to their servers or other client systems. It performs provisioning and configuration management of predefined standard operating environments.

Users of Red Hat Satellite are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which fix this bug.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata relevant to your system have been applied.

This update resolves only custom Products that you create after updating. When this update is applied, you might have custom Products you created in January of 2020 that are unable to be consumed.
