An update for openvswitch2.12 is now available in the Fast Datapath channel of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.

Description

Open vSwitch provides standard network bridging functions and support for
the OpenFlow protocol for remote per-flow control of traffic.

Bug Fix(es) and Enhancement(s):

  • [FD-7] Initialize openvswitch2.12 stream with Open vSwitch 2.12.0. (BZ#1758820)
  • [RHEL 7] ovsdb-server doesn't apply the db server status change to all the json rpc sessions few times. (BZ#1761573)
  • [RHEL7][OVS2.12][mlx]Cannot obtain physical addresses: Permission denied. Only vfio will function (BZ#1769027)
  • [RFE] Add visibility on vhost-user tx contention (BZ#1771390)
  • [ovsdb-server] Allow replicating from older schema servers (BZ#1771854)
  • OCP IPv6 - Kernel rejects flows due to unexpected flow key - Key type 30 is out of range max 29 (BZ#1773598)
