Updated packages that resolve various issues are now available for Red Hat
OpenStack Platform 14.0 (Rocky) for RHEL 7.

Description

Red Hat OpenStack Platform provides the facilities for building, deploying
and monitoring a private or public infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) cloud
running on commonly available physical hardware.

Changes to the openvswitch component:

• Previously, two VMs with floating IPs (FIPs) on differing compute nodes would send traffic through the geneve tunnel, even with distributed virtual routing (DVR) enabled. With this patch, direct FIP to FIP communication is enabled with DVR, improving network efficiency. (BZ#1671776)

Solution

Before applying this update, ensure all previously released errata relevant
to your system have been applied.
