An update for openvswitch2.11 is now available in the Fast Datapath channel of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.

Description

Open vSwitch provides standard network bridging functions and support for the OpenFlow protocol for remote per-flow control of traffic.

Bug Fix(es) and Enhancement(s):

  • OvS DoS'es the system on port creation failure (BZ#1737146)
  • Add visibility and config on vhost tx-retries. (BZ#1747531)
  • Connectivity issue across VXLAN tunnels in OVS-DPDK after reboot of hypervisor - problem clears up after restarting openvswitch. (BZ#1759262)
  • OVN-DVR HA | DNS Security group rule is applied but not working between VMs on different networks with FIPs. (BZ#1761461)
  • ovsdb-server doesn't apply the db server status change to all the json rpc sessions few times. (BZ#1761572)

Users of openvswitch2.11 are advised to upgrade to these updated packages.
