An update for openvswitch is now available in the Fast Datapath channel of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.

Description

Open vSwitch provides standard network bridging functions and support for
the OpenFlow protocol for remote per-flow control of traffic.

Bug Fix(es) and Enhancement(s):

• Openvswich process is not restarted after a kill command 20% of the time. (BZ#1653717)
• Connectivity issue across VXLAN tunnels in OVS-DPDK after reboot of hypervisor - problem clears up after restarting openvswitch. (BZ#1685642)
• LACP backports (BZ#1747792)

Users of openvswitch are advised to upgrade to these updated packages,
which fix these bugs and add these enhancements.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
