An update for ovn2.11 is now available in the Fast Datapath channel of Red Hat
Enterprise Linux 7.

Description

OVN, the Open Virtual Network, is a system to support virtual network
abstraction. OVN complements the existing capabilities of OVS to add
native support for virtual network abstractions, such as virtual L2 and L3
overlays and security groups.

Bug Fix(es) and Enhancement(s):

• Support binding a logical port based on the GARP from the VIF. (BZ#1699350)
• controller_even doesn't record the UDP packets of lb_backends. (BZ#1734743)
• ovn-northd is crashing when logical router has only IPv6 addresses and gateway_mtu is configured. (BZ#1737341)
• /usr/share/openvswitch/scripts/ovn-ctl is fragile in the presence of empty .pid files. (BZ#1741057)
• controller_even is not effective on logical router. (BZ#1743577)
• Provide the option to configure probe interval for openflow connection. (BZ#1744962)
• ovn-controller crashes when DNS is configured and a (specific/malformed) DNS packet is received. (BZ#1744991)
• OVN: do not discard mac_bindings under heavy load. (BZ#1745002)
• Backport Incremental processing patches. (BZ#1748102)

Users of ovn2.11 are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which fix these bugs and add these enhancements.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
