An update for openvswitch is now available in the Fast Datapath channel of Red Hat
Enterprise Linux 7.

Description

Open vSwitch provides standard network bridging functions and support for
the OpenFlow protocol for remote per-flow control of traffic.

Bug Fix(es) and Enhancement(s):

• OVN: do not discard mac_bindings under heavy load (BZ#1744986)
• Provide the option to configure probe interval for openflow connection (BZ#1746196)
• ovn-controller crashes when DNS is configured and a (specific/malformed) DNS packet is received (BZ#1746198)

Users of openvswitch are advised to upgrade to these updated packages,
which fix these bugs and add these enhancements.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
