Updated libvirt packages that fix one bug are now available for Red Hat Virtualization.

Description

The libvirt library contains a C API for managing and interacting with the virtualization capabilities of Linux and other operating systems. In addition, libvirt provides tools for remote management of virtualized systems.

This update fixes the following bug:

• When using Red Hat Virtualization 4 based on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.7, multiple libvirt sub-packages, such as libvirt-admin and libvirt-lock-sanlock, could not be installed and instead generated dependency errors. This update ensures these packages are installed as dependencies of libvirt, which fixes the problem. (BZ#1748540)

Users of libvirt are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which fix this bug. After installing the updated packages, libvirtd will be restarted automatically.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
