An update for openvswitch is now available in the Fast Datapath channel of Red Hat
Enterprise Linux 7.

Description

Open vSwitch provides standard network bridging functions and support for
the OpenFlow protocol for remote per-flow control of traffic.

Bug Fix(es) and Enhancement(s):

• Observed the difference between dpctl and nic statistics. (BZ#1714592)
• ovn need to delete file /etc/openvswitch/ovnnb-active.conf after the test of ovn_cluster (BZ#1724150)
• ping loss of first packet with OVN l3 logical router. when using VLAN tenant network type (BZ#1728674)
• PMD fails to attach Mellanox nic cards on a running environment, possibly triggered by link down. (BZ#1729141)

Users of openvswitch are advised to upgrade to these updated packages,
which fix these bugs and add these enhancements.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
