An update for ovn2.11 is now available in the Fast Datapath channel of Red Hat
Enterprise Linux 7.

Description

OVN, the Open Virtual Network, is a system to support virtual network
abstraction. OVN complements the existing capabilities of OVS to add
native support for virtual network abstractions, such as virtual L2 and L3
overlays and security groups.

Bug Fix(es) and Enhancement(s):

  • ovn-controller very high memory/RAM utilization if 2 chassis have same system-id configured (by mistake) (BZ#1698462)
  • traffic can't pass through if the chassis's system-id is part of other chassis's system-id (BZ#1708131)
  • spelling mistake of lsp-get-dhcpv4-options in man ovn-nbctl (BZ#1720194)
  • OVN: ability to set GENEVE/VXLAN port (BZ#1720371)
  • Cherry pick OVS upstream patch to OVS 2.11 - dns domain name (BZ#1721012)
  • ping loss of first packet with OVN l3 logical router. when using VLAN tenant network type (BZ#1728318)
  • Backport ovn uindling support (BZ#1730759)

Users of ovn2.11 are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which
fix these bugs and add these enhancements.
