An update for subscription-manager is now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.

Description

The subscription-manager packages provide programs and libraries to allow users to manage subscriptions and yum repositories from the Red Hat entitlement platform.

For detailed information on changes in this release, see the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.7 Release Notes linked from the References section.

Users of subscription-manager are advised to upgrade to these updated packages.

If you have the dnf-plugin-subscription-manager package installed from the extras repository, you will need to do one of the following:

• Make sure to apply RHBA-2019:40512-02 at the same time as this erratum.
• Remove the dnf-plugin-subscription-manager package from your system and then apply this erratum.

Following these steps will ensure the yum/dnf update will succeed without requirement errors.
