An update for openvswitch is now available in Fast Datapath for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.

Description

Open vSwitch provides standard network bridging functions and support for the OpenFlow protocol for remote per-flow control of traffic.

Bug Fix(es):

• ovs-vswitchd dirties entire stack of all revalidator/handler pthreads immediately (BZ#1572797)
• OVS daemon crashed while adding 100 Gb qede to OVS-dpdk bridge (BZ#1648183)
• Please add Requires: openvswitch = %{version}-%{release} to python-openvswitch in the specfile (BZ#1662944)
• Exception on attempt to create an instance connected to public network (BZ#1706870)
• dpdk mlx5 driver compilation issue with rdma-core v22 (BZ#1719705)
• ovn_controller incorrect static routes observed inside the guest when static routes are set in neutron subnet (BZ#1719766)

Users of openvswitch are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which fix these bugs.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
