Updated deployment images are now available for Red Hat OpenStack Platform
14.0 director for RHEL 7.

Description

Red Hat OpenStack Platform provides the facilities for building, deploying
and monitoring a private or public infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) cloud
running on commonly available physical hardware.

Changes to the rhosp-director-images component:

• Previously, disabling SMT on IBM Power8 systems failed because the qemu-kvm-rhev package was installed inside the libvirt container instead of on the Compute host. This prevented access to the configuration file `/usr/lib/systemd/kvm-setup` that controlled enabling and disabling SMT. This fix installs the qemu-kvm-rhev package on the Compute host, which exposes the configuration file and allows disabling SMT at system startup. (BZ#1659190)

Solution

Before applying this update, ensure all previously released errata relevant
to your system have been applied.
