Updated kmod-oracleasm packages that fix one bug are now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.

Description

Oracle ASM (Automated Storage Management) is a data volume manager for Oracle databases. ASMLib is an optional utility that can be used on Linux systems to manage Oracle ASM devices. ASMLib consists of the following components: - kmod-oracleasm (open-source (GPL) kernel module package) - oracleasm-support (open-source (GPL) utilities package) - oracleasmlib (proprietary library package) ASM features and functionality are available without ASMLib. In addition, the use of ASMLib does not affect database performance.

Bug fix:

• Uplift kmod-oracleasm to version 2.0.8-22.0.5 for memory corruption correction [rhel-7.6.z] (BZ#1679239)

Users of kmod-oracleasm are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which fix this bug.
