Updated openvswitch packages that fix several bugs and add one enhancement are now available in the Fast Datapath channel of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.

Description

Open vSwitch provides standard network bridging functions and support for the OpenFlow protocol for remote per-flow control of traffic.

This update fixes the following bugs:

• backport OVN IP buffering fixes (BZ#1649007)
• openvswitch fails rpm -V after a fresh install (BZ#1651775)
• OVN: lsp-set-addresses support for dynamic MAC + static IP (BZ#1655369)
• Please add Requires: openvswitch = %{version}-%{release} to python-openvswitch in the specfile (BZ#1662946)
• Backport fixes for supporting NIC Partitioning in OvS 2.9 (BZ#1665882)
• unicode is not working correctly on python-openvswitch when C json parser is used in a python2 runtime (BZ#1671498)

In addition, this update adds the following enhancements:

• [RFE] Supporting ovn-nbctl lsp-set-addresses port_name "dynamic unknown" (BZ#1643749)

Users of openvswitch are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which fix these bugs.

Solution

relevant to your system have been applied.
