Topic
An update is now available for Red Hat Ceph Storage 3.2.
Description
Red Hat Ceph Storage is a scalable, open, software-defined storage platform
that combines the most stable version of the Ceph storage system with a
Ceph management platform, deployment utilities, and support services.
Bug Fix(es):
- Previously, tasks containing the `from_json` filter resulted in an error when using the `ceph-ansible` playbook. This is because the `from_json` filter expects to receive a string when passing a JSON data type. With this update, the default value passed to `from_json` is now a string, and using the filter no longer results in an error. (BZ#1663026)
Enhancement(s):
- Previously, the `rolling-update.yml` playbook executed the client roles one by one. With this update, users can specify the number of nodes to be processed in one batch using the new variable `client_update_batch`. This makes the upgrade process for client nodes much faster. If no value is passed, it defaults to the value of the variable for `ansible_forks`, which is `5` by default. (BZ#1650184)
