An updated autofs package that fixes one bug is now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.
Description
The autofs utility controls the operation of the automount daemon. The daemon automatically mounts file systems when in use and unmounts them when they are not busy.
This update fixes the following bug:
- When updating the autofs package with the "yum update" command, a deadlock occurred in the automountd daemon. Consequently, the automount program became unresponsive. With this update, the problem has been fixed, and automount no longer hangs when updating autofs. (BZ#1627004)
Users of autofs are advised to upgrade to this updated package, which fixes this bug.
Solution
