Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform release 3.9.43 is now available with updates to packages and images that fix several bugs.

Description

Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform is Red Hat's cloud computing Kubernetes application platform solution designed for on-premise or private cloud deployments.

This advisory contains the RPM packages for Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 3.9.43. See the following advisory for the container images for this release:

This update fixes the following bugs:

• This bug fix allows fluentd to reconnect to Elasticsearch every 100 operations by default. Previously, if one Elasticsearch operation started before the others in the cluster, the load balancer in the Elasticsearch service would connect to that one and that one only, as would all of the fluentd connecting to Elasticsearch. (BZ#1616354)
  
• Previously, the image definition for the registry console used a variable that only specified a `major.minor` version. This bug fix updates the build to use `openshift_image_tag`, which specifies the full `major.minor.patch` version. (BZ#1619405)
  

All OpenShift Container Platform 3.9 users are advised to upgrade to these updated packages.
