Updated packages that resolve various issues are now available for Red Hat
OpenStack Platform 12.0 (Pike) for RHEL 7.

Description

Red Hat OpenStack Platform provides the facilities for building, deploying
and monitoring a private or public infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) cloud running on commonly available physical hardware.

Changes to the openstack-selinux component:

• Previously, the virtlogd service logged redundant AVC denial errors when a guest virtual machine was started. With this update, the virtlogd service no longer attempts to send shutdown inhibition calls to systemd, which prevents the described errors from occurring. (BZ#1561727)

Changes to the python-openstackclient component:

• This update fixes an issue that caused "open stack network agent delete" to fail.

Previously the command failed with the error "unexpected keyword argument 'ignore_missing'".
This update makes it possible to delete Neutron agents using python-openstackclient. (BZ#1430338)

• Prior to this update, the "project purge" command deleted all images regardless of which project owned it.

This update fixes a mismatch between deletion code for Glance V1 and V2. It adds code specific to Glance V2 to handle the deletion correctly.
Now the "project purge" command only deletes images owned by the specified project ID when run by an admin user. (BZ#1600399)

Changes to the python-oslo-utils component:

• In this update, the python-oslo-utils is rebased to version 3.28.2 to ensure compatibility with setuptools version 39 and newer. (BZ#1558378)

Solution

Before applying this update, ensure all previously released errata relevant to your system have been applied.
