Updated openvswitch packages that fix several bugs are now available in the Fast Datapath channel of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.

Description

Open vSwitch provides standard network bridging functions and support for the OpenFlow protocol for remote per-flow control of traffic.

This update fixes the following bugs:

• Fixed guest network can not recover immediately after ping-pong live migration over ovs-dpdk (BZ#1512463)
• DPDK: Fixed RAMROD error on QLogic 41262H card (BZ#1531145)
• Fixed hangs while configuring SSL if SSL configuration exists (BZ#1575929)
• DPDK: Fixed MTU settings for NFP DPDK interface (BZ#1582257)
• OVN: do not mark ND packets for conntrack in PRE_LB stage (BZ#1583011)
• DPDK: Fixed MTU settings for BNXT DPDK interface (BZ#1589264)
• Remove obsoleted openvswitch-ovn-docker package during upgrade (BZ#1594404)
• DPDK: Fixed non-root user support for NFP DPDK interface (BZ#1594740, BZ#1596324)
• DPDK vhost: Fixed missing increment of log cache count (BZ#1598752)

Users of openvswitch are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which fix these bugs.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
