Updated tuned packages that fix one bug are now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.2 Advanced Update Support.
Description
The tuned packages provide a service that tunes system settings according to a selected profile.
This update fixes the following bug:
- Previously, the value of the force_latency parameter in the SAP HANA tuned profiles was set to "1". As a consequence, all power-saving states of x86_64 and ppc64le CPUs were disabled, and the performance of CPUs could be negatively affected. With this update, the value of force_latency has been increased to "70", and the described problem no longer occurs. (BZ#1607851)
Users of tuned are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which fix this bug.
Solution

relevant to your system have been applied.
