Updated firefox packages that fix one bug are now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.

Description

Mozilla Firefox is an open-source web browser, designed for standards compliance, performance, and portability.

This update fixes the following bug:

  • Previously, the Firefox application terminated unexpectedly when attempting to display the file download dialog. With this update, the XDG_DATA_DIRS variable has been set correctly. As a result, showing the file dialog now works as expected. (BZ#1596852)

Users of Firefox are advised to upgrade to this updated package, which fixes this bug. After installing the update, Firefox must be restarted for the changes to take effect.

Solution
