An updated docker-distribution package that fixes several bugs and adds various enhancements is now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 Extras.

Description

The docker-distribution package provides the tool set to support the Docker Registry version 2.

The docker-distribution package has been upgraded to upstream version 2.6.2, which provides a number of bug fixes and enhancements over the previous version. (BZ#1565887)

Additionally, this bug has been fixed:

• Previously, the docker-distribution systemd unit file had the

"After=network.target" entry in the wrong section. Consequently, this message:

Unknown lvalue "After" in section "Install"

appeared in the logs. With this update, the "After=network.target" line has been
moved to the "Unit" section of the unit file, and the message no longer appears
in the logs. (BZ#1528265)

Users of docker-distribution are advised to upgrade to this updated package, which fixes these bugs and adds these enhancements.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata relevant to your system have been applied.
