An updated cdn-sync-mappings package that fixes one bug is now available for Red Hat Satellite 5.8.

Description

Red Hat Satellite is a system management tool for Linux-based infrastructures. It allows for the provisioning, remote management, and monitoring of multiple Linux deployments with a single centralized tool.

The cdn-sync-mappings package maps the products and content available in a customer's Satellite manifest, to existing channel-families and channels in their Satellite 5.8 instance.

This update fixes the following bug:

• Some channels were missing part of the channel information in the cdn-sync-mappings. Consequently, channel information was incomplete when displayed. The cdn-sync-mappings package has been updated and now contains all necessary information. (BZ#1507866)

All Users of Red Hat Satellite are advised to upgrade to this updated package, which fixes this bug.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
