Updated rh-mongodb26 packages that fix one bug are now available for Red Hat Software Collections.

Description

MongoDB is a cross-platform document-oriented database system classified as a NoSQL database. This Software Collection includes the mongo-java-driver package.

This update fixes the following bug:

• Previously, a dependency on the rh-java-common Software Collection packages was set even when the rh-mongodb26-mongo-java-driver package was not installed. Consequently, MongoDB 2.6 container images included unnecessary RPM packages, including OpenJDK. This update removes the redundant dependencies, and leaves just the dependency in the rh-mongodb26-mongo-java-driver package. (BZ#1523039)

Users of rh-mongodb26 are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which fix this bug.

Solution

relevant to your system have been applied.
