Description
Red Hat Satellite is a system management tool for Linux-based infrastructures. It allows for the provisioning, remote management and monitoring of multiple Linux deployments with a single, centralized tool.
The cdn-sync-mappings package maps the products and content available in a customer's Satellite manifest, to existing channel-families and channels in their Satellite 5.8 instance.
Due to missing channel product information, the Red Hat Satellite 5.8 channel was not available as a proxy channel and Proxy Server 5.8 could not be installed. This update fixes the bug in the cdn-sync-mappings package, and Satellite Proxy 5.8 is now available to install as expected. (BZ#1491286)
All Users of Red Hat Satellite are advised to upgrade to this updated package, which fixes this bug.
