Updated ostree packages are now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 Extras.

Description

OSTree is a tool for managing bootable, immutable, versioned file system trees.

The ostree packages have been upgraded to upstream version 2017.11, which provides a number of bug fixes and enhancements over the previous version (BZ#1494121). Notably:

• Previously, fetching updates from Satellite for Atomic Host could fail due to a problem with certificates. This update switches HTTP backed to libcurl, synchronizing with libdnf and fixes the bug. (BZ#1444903)

Users of ostree are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which fix these bugs and adds these enhancements.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
