An updated ansible package that fixes several bugs is now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.
Ansible is a simple model-driven configuration management, multi-node deployment, and remote-task execution system. Ansible works over SSH and does not require any software or daemons to be installed on remote nodes. Extension modules can be written in any language and are transferred to managed machines automatically.
The ansible packages have been upgraded to upstream version 2.3.2, which provides a number of bug fixes over the previous version. (BZ#1478867)
This update also fixes the following bug:
- Previously, some of the functionality of Ansible was unavailable, because the dependency on the python-passlib package was missing. Now, the missing dependency has been added. (BZ#1484860)
Users of ansible are advised to upgrade to this updated package, which fixes these bugs.
Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
