Updated sblim-gather packages that fix one bug are now available for Red Hat
Enterprise Linux 7.3 Extended Update Support.

Description

The sblim-gather packages contain agents and control programs for the Standards-Based Linux Instrumentation for Manageability Performance Data Gatherer Base. This collection of system management tools enable Web-Based Enterprise Management (WBEM) on Linux.

This update fixes the following bug:

• Prior to this update, when calculating certain interval metrics, the reposd daemon terminated unexpectedly with a fatal arithmetic error (SIGFPE). This update provides a backported patch, and reposd no longer crashes in the described situation. (BZ#1471058)

Users of sblim-gather are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which fix this bug.
