Identify and remediate systems affected by this advisory.
Topic
Updated idm-console-framework packages that fix one bug are now available for Red Hat Directory Server 10.1.
Description
Red Hat Directory Server is an LDAPv3-compliant directory server. The suite of packages includes the Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) server and command-line utilities for server administration, the Administration Server HTTP agent package, and the GUI console packages.
This update fixes the following bug:
- Previously, the idm-console-framework was not compatible with the Java security service (JSS) in Red Hat Enterprise Linux. As a consequence, the Red Hat Directory Server Administration Console failed to connect to the admin server using the HTTPS protocol. A patch has been applied and now the Administration Console works correctly when using the HTTPS protocol. (BZ#1440790)
Users of idm-console-framework are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which fix this bug.
