Identify and remediate systems affected by this advisory.
Topic
An updated ovirt-scheduler-proxy package is now available.
Description
The ovirt-scheduler-proxy package provides infrastructure to handle virtual machine placement, allowing users to create new scheduling policies, and also write their own logic in Python and include it in a policy.
Changes to the ovirt-scheduler-proxy component:
- Previously the timeout handing for the external scheduler was incorrect. As a result, if the process timed out, it returned an empty result, which caused an exception when scheduling a virtual machine (VM). The timeout handling has been fixed and the VM can now be scheduled and started. (BZ#1459911)
