Updated packages that resolve various issues are now available for Red Hat
OpenStack Platform 9.0 (Mitaka) for RHEL 7.

Description

Red Hat OpenStack Platform provides the facilities for building a private
or public infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) cloud running on commonly
available physical hardware.

Changes to the python-openstackclient component:

• Rebase package(s) to version: 2.3.1

Highlights and important bug fixes: This rebase includes bug fixes related to handling non-ASCII resource names as well as SSL/TLS verification for network commands. (BZ#1439809)

Changes to the python-os-brick component:

• Cause:

When a multipath is not found and a single path is used instead, we have a symlink instead of a real device, which is not recognized by the multipath CLI.

Consequence:
We get an unexpected error: can't get udev device

Fix:
Always use a real path instead of the symlink.

Result:
We no longer get the unexpected error. (BZ#1432315)

Solution

Before applying this update, ensure all previously released errata relevant
to your system have been applied.
