Updated resource-agents packages that fix two bugs are now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.

The resource-agents packages provide the Pacemaker and RGManager service
managers with a set of scripts. These scripts interface with several services to allow operating in a high availability (HA) environment.

This update fixes the following bugs:

• The IPaddr2 resource agent creates IPv6 virtual IP (VIP) addresses that are used as source addresses for routing by default. Previously, when the VIP was moved, it could cause problems for certain OpenStack services. This update adds the "preferred_lft" parameter to adjust the source IP address. When "preferred_lft" is set to "0", the IP source address remains the same as before starting the VIP. As a result, OpenStack services work as expected. (BZ#1445889)
• Previously, if no data was available in a Galera cluster the current node was chosen as the "fallback" node to bootstrap the cluster. As a consequence, every node made a different decision when choosing the "fallback" node, a situation which could lead to single-node clusters of Galera. With this update, the algorithm has been changed to yield coherent results across all the nodes. (BZ#1451414)

Users of resource-agents are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which fix these bugs.
