Updated polkit packages that fix one bug are now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.2 Extended Update Support.

Description

The polkit packages provide a component for controlling system-wide privileges. This component provides a uniform and organized way for non-privileged processes to communicate with privileged ones.

• Previously, the libpolkit-gobject library did not correctly free memory when updating the state of the PolkitPermission object. Consequently, this could lead to unexpected termination of some applications. The bug has been fixed, and libpolkit-gobject now works as expected. (BZ#1439872)

Users of polkit are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which fix this bug.

relevant to your system have been applied.
