Topic
Updated yum-rhn-plugin packages that fix one bug are now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.6 Advanced Update Support.
Description
The yum-rhn-plugin package provides support for connecting to Red Hat Network (RHN) and Red Hat Satellite server. Systems registered with RHN are able to update and install packages from Red Hat Network.
- Previously, the yum-rhn-plugin was sending a deformed request header. As a consequence, this prevented from downloading repository metadata from a Red Hat Satellite server. This occurred when the Satellite server ran with the 2.2.15-60 or newer version of the httpd package and with strict-whitespace-enforcement mode enabled. The bug has been fixed, and yum-rhn-plugin now sends correct HTTP requests. (BZ#1425082).
Users of yum-rhn-plugin are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which fix this bug.
