Updated packages that resolve various issues are now available for Red Hat
OpenStack Platform 10.0 (Newton) for RHEL 7.

Description

Red Hat OpenStack Platform provides the facilities for building, deploying
and monitoring a private or public infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) cloud
running on commonly available physical hardware.

This update addresses the following issues:

• Prior to this update, setting `--mellon-https-port` to the default 443 port would result in a `HTTP 503 Bad Request` error during authentication. This was due to a mismatch between the `Destination` attribute and the `Assertion Consumer Service` URL. With this update, authentication now proceeds correctly if port 443 is used. (BZ#1414156)
• Prior to this update, the aodh composite alarm would not compute the final alarm state correctly. This occurred when one alarm only had a trending state and not a hard state. The trending state occurrs only when the alarm monitors new data, which is usually just after an alarm is created, or when the resource that the alarm monitors is created.

Consequently, the aodh composite alarm would report the incorrect state at the beginning of the alarm life.
With this update, the aodh has been updated to openstack-aodh-3.0.1-6.el7ost.
As a result, the aodh composite alarm no longer reports the incorrect state. (BZ#1398339)

Solution

Before applying this update, ensure all previously released errata relevant
to your system have been applied.
