An updated Satellite 6.2 package that fixes one bug is now available for Red Hat Satellite.

Description

Red Hat Satellite is a system management solution that allows organizations to configure and maintain their systems without the necessity to provide public Internet access to their servers or other client systems. It performs provisioning and configuration management of predefined standard operating environments.

This update fixes the following bug:

• Previously, packages would not be indexed if uploaded via the user interface, making it appear that the update operation had failed. With this release, packages uploaded via the user interface are now indexed correctly, resolving this issue. (BZ#1416904)

Users of Red Hat Satellite are advised to upgrade to this updated package, which fixes this bug.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata relevant to your system have been applied.

To update this system to include these fixes, ensure your system has access to the latest Red Hat packages. For instructions on how to apply this update refer to:

Then restart the satellite server:

# katello-service restart

or

# katello-service restart
