Topic
An updated ovirt-hosted-engine-ha package is now available.
Description
The ovirt-hosted-engine-ha package enables the self-hosted engine to be highly available. A self-hosted engine is a virtualized environment in which the Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization Manager runs on a virtual machine on the hosts managed by the Manager. If the host running the virtual machine goes into maintenance, the virtual machine is migrated automatically to another host in the environment.
Changes to the ovirt-hosted-engine-ha component:
- In 3.6, ovirt-ha-agent reads its configuration and the Manager VM specification from the shared storage; however in 3.5 they were just local files replicated on each involved host. This enhancement modifies the output of hosted-engine --vm-status to show whether the configuration and the VM specification have been, on each reported host, correctly read from the shared storage. (BZ#1403750)
