RHBA-2017:0056 - Bug Fix Advisory
Synopsis
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.8.6 Container Image Update
Type/Severity
Bug Fix Advisory
Topic
An updated Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.8.6 container image is now available.
Description
The Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.8 container image includes an up-to-date minimal runtime from Red Hat required to build, run, and deploy applications inside containers running on Red Hat infrastructure.
All package updates relevant to this base image can be found in the "Container" section of this advisory. The first list refers to the changes between rhel-server-docker-6.8-124 and rhel-server-docker-6.8-125.
Users of Red Hat Enterprise Linux container images are advised to upgrade to this updated image, which corrects this issues. Users of this image are also encouraged to rebuild all container images that depend on this image.
Solution
The Red Hat Enterprise Linux container image provided by this update can be
downloaded from the Red Hat Container Registry at registry.access.redhat.com
using the "docker pull" command. Dockerfiles and scripts should be amended
either to refer to this updated image specifically, or to the latest image
generally.
