An update for kernel-rt is now available for Red Hat Enterprise MRG 2.5.
Description
The kernel-rt packages provide the Real Time Linux Kernel, which enables fine-tuning for systems with extremely high determinism requirements.
This update fixes the following bugs:
- Previously, the leapsec_timer (LTP) test in some cases failed, because the hrtimer subsystem expired earlier than expected. With this update, the timekeeping_update() function is executed on the shadow timekeeper prior to copying the full state over to the real timekeeper, and LTP test now passes every timekeeper. (BZ#1401068)
