An updated Windows Azure Linux Agent package is now available for Red Hat
Enterprise Linux 7 Extras.
Description
The Windows Azure Linux Agent supports the provisioning and running of Linux
virtual machines in the Microsoft Windows Azure cloud.
The Windows Azure Linux Agent (WALinuxAgent) package has been upgraded to
upstream version 2.2.0, which provides a number of bug fixes and enhancements over the previous version. (BZ#1387783)
In addition, this update also adds the following enhancement:
- The AutoUpdate configuration has been disabled. (BZ#1374115)
All users who require the Windows Azure Linux Agent are advised to install this updated package. This package should be installed on Linux disk images that are built to run in the Windows Azure environment.
Solution
Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
