Updated Samba package that adds one enhancement is now available for Red
Hat Gluster Storage 3.1.

Description

Samba is an implementation of the server message block (SMB) protocol. It
allows the networking of Microsoft Windows®, Linux, UNIX, and other
operating systems together, enabling access to Windows-based file and
printer shares. Samba's use of SMB allows it to appear as a Windows server
to Windows clients.

This update fixes the following bug:

• The version of Samba packages of Red Hat Gluster Storage on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 is updated to retain the same version as the Samba packages of Red Hat Gluster Storage on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.

Users of the Samba packages in Red Hat Gluster Storage are advised to update to the packages provided in this advisory.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
